Since 1911

Edmund Halley Van Highs migrated from Eastern Michigan to Los Angeles in the early 1900s. In 1909 he acquired 26 acres, Tract 420 located in the San Fernando Valley, from the Los Angeles Farming and Milling Company. Since then four generations of the Van Highs family have overseen their modest homestead as they cultivated and crafted their family brand.
